01How charges work
- Monthly plans bill on the same day each month, in advance, in U.S. dollars.
- Annual plans bill once, up front, with the discount baked in.
- Usage (outgoing SMS, voice minutes, extra storage) bills in arrears on the next invoice.
- Receipts go to the email on the account. Download history under Settings → Plan → Invoices.
02Cancel any time
From Settings → Plan → Cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We don't pro-rate unused days on a monthly plan.
03About refunds
We don't refund used months — and we'd rather tell you up front than bury it in fine print.
Claver is $19/month. We've priced it that low so every small shop fed up with $250+/mo enterprise tools can afford the real thing. There's no contract, no salesperson, and you can cancel any time — your next month stops billing immediately and your data exports as CSV the moment you want it. Pay us $19 and you're betting on the product, not the policy. We think that's fair.
Two exceptions where we always make it right:
- You were double-billed → refunded within 1 business day.
- A Claver-side bug broke a core feature for more than 24 hours and we didn't fix it → credit or refund.
Outside those two, we don't refund time you've already used. Annual subscribers can stop future renewals anytime, but we don't pro-rate months you've already consumed. To request a refund or ask any billing question, email [email protected] from the email on the account — we respond within 1 business day.
04Failed payments
If a charge fails we retry on day 1, day 3, and day 7. After day 7 we suspend the workspace. After day 30 we delete it. You'll get email at every step.
05Taxes
Prices on the site exclude sales tax, VAT, GST, and HST. We add applicable tax based on your billing address. Update your tax ID under Settings → Plan → Billing details if you have one.
06Payment processing for your customers
That's a separate flow under Stripe Connect. Stripe holds the funds, takes its processing fee, and pays out to your bank. Claver does not take a percentage of your customer payments. Disputes and refunds for end-customer payments are managed in the Stripe dashboard, with our help if you ask.
