Invoice template FAQ
What should a contractor invoice include?
A complete contractor invoice should include your business name and contact details, the customer's name and address, a unique invoice number and date, an itemized list of work and materials with quantities and unit prices, the subtotal, any sales tax, and total due, plus payment terms or notes. Adding a license number where required and a clear due date helps you get paid faster.
Is this really free?
Yes, completely free, no signup, and it runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is uploaded or stored anywhere: fill it in, click Download PDF, and you're done. There's no watermark and no limit on how many invoices you create.
Can Claver send invoices automatically?
Yes. Claver turns quotes into invoices, emails them to your customer, collects card payments through Stripe, and sends a receipt automatically, so you skip the manual template entirely once you're set up. It also tracks which invoices are paid, due, or overdue.
